Archer & Partners' Estate Agents Privacy Notice. General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Archer & Partners are independent estate agents dealing with the sale of residential property only. The information we collect from our sellers and purchasers is strictly used solely for us to operate an estate agency service and is not passed to third parties without formal consent. The data collected is kept within our office only, which has a fully serviced security system and our computers and wifi set ups are password protected.

Our in-house database is password protected for the registration of all sellers and applicants. When applicants register with us to receive property related information, we ask for their consent to hold contact addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses and we will make contact via the information provided only. Applicants will mainly be contacted about residential property through Archer & Partners and those applicants who are not actively involved with Archer & Partners, for example not purchasing a property, will be removed from our database and information deleted after a six month period from their most recent update. Applicants can contact us prior to this timescale if they wish to be deleted from our database. Any paper documents are also destroyed and will be shredded by a specialist shredding company.

Under Money Laundering Regulations, we must have photographic identification and proof of address documentation for all sellers and buyers and this information is held within our secured files.

During the selling process and to enable us to continue with our estate agency service, we will need to liaise with other estate agents and solicitors and therefore, limited information may need to be passed to these firms involved with the property transaction.

We have a legal obligation to store our property files for no longer than seven years. The hard files are stored within our secured office as well as scanned and filed on our password protected computer systems.

If there are any issues with our Privacy Notice then please contact David Shelton MNAEA Director for Archer & Partners Estate Agents.
